Damn Small Linux (DSL) Version 4.4.10


Damn Small Linux (DSL for short) is a mini Linux distribution that provides unique versatility despite it's tiny footprint. The streamlined desktop includes a selection of essential applications carefully chosen to effectively balance functionality, size, and speed. DSL is highly extendable by means of the MyDSL system which allows easy one-click download and installation of additional applications from the online software repository. In addition to the standard native boot, DSL is also capable of being launched in a "virtual mode" much like an application from within a Windows environment. This virtualization of the DSL desktop can be convenient even though functionality and speed are often reduced by the process. If you are looking for a small Linux distribution that is super fast and highly customizable, Damn Small Linux is for you.

This Boot CD provides the user with the option of avoiding a BIOS modification. The Boot CD can also extend FlashPC usage to host PCs that do not allow BIOS modification or that do not offer USB or Card media as an option in the BIOS boot order.
